Barry Mennen, MD, is a primary care physician at Capital HealthCare in Bathesda, Maryland, and Lorton, Virginia. He also has a private weight management practice. In addition to that, he is a medical marketing consultant to the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Mennen began his career in medical marketing at Douglas McAdams, a prominent New York agency. In 1999, he became Medical Director at Robert A. Becker EuroRSCG Life, and in 2002 was appointed Chief Scientific Officer for Havas Life, responsible for medical content of all US and global campaigns. In 2005, he left Havas to return to the practice of medicine in the Washington DC area. Since then he has continued as a consultant to the pharma industry including Flaum Navigators. Although Dr. Mennen is versed in virtually all therapeutic areas, he has special expertise in weight management, diabetes, CV, oncology, renal, dermatology, and infectious disease.
Dr. Mennen is a graduate of New York University and earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
