Lisa Ebert is a brand planning consultant with over 25 years of experience focused on Rx and OTC brand development across therapeutic categories. Her expertise spans the product life cycle from launch through patent expiry—including Rx-to-OTC switches. She has led agency teams in the strategic development for billion- dollar brands such as Humira® and Crest®, as well as brands such as Xiaflex®, Tyvaso® and VPRIV for rare diseases.
Prior to entering the world of consulting, Lisa was the Managing Director of Publicis Life Brands Medicus, one of the flagship agencies within the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group. During Lisa’s tenure at the helm, she led key initiatives to advance the agency in the areas of business development, employee development and agency differentiation. Under Lisa’s leadership, the agency experienced significant growth— nearly doubling in size within five years. In 2010, she was named as one of the most inspiring leaders in the life-sciences industry by Pharmavoice 100. In 2012, Lisa was featured in the MedAdNews article: Women In Leadership: Way To Go.
Lisa began her career in the life sciences as a molecular biology research associate. Her concentration was the study of gene expression and heredity at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, the world-renowned institution for scientific inquiry led by James Watson.
Following her research years, Lisa returned to school to earn her MBA in marketing from Hofstra University. While in graduate school, she interned at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals where her passion for pharmaceutical marketing and strategy was ignited and her long career in healthcare communications on the agency side began.
